im reading this book, in which it says that people can subconsiously share memories with one another. so, the theory is that deja vu is not a reoccuring thought of your own, but someone else's memory. like...it was planted there by a passing stranger, or perhaps a close friend. and certain sights, sounds, smells, trigger it, and bring it back to life.i just thought that was really wonderful.
